Panorama Saunas Commercial Warranty

 

Subject to receiving Panorama Saunas written approval, Panorama Saunas warrants to the original purchaser of a sauna for commercial use that it will perform in accordance with the warranties set out in this warranty document (‘Warranties’).

 

1. Sauna Warranty

 

- Wood Material: Panorama Saunas warrants the wood material of outdoor saunas for one year from the date of delivery against failure due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations, conditions, and exclusions outlined in this warranty.

- Other Components and Parts: All other outdoor sauna components and parts, including the heating source and accessories, are warranted for one year from the date of delivery against failure due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the same limitations, conditions, and exclusions.

 

Exclusions:

 

- Warping or damage caused by failure to cover the product when packaged in protective wrap and excessive exposure to sunlight.

- Damage caused by improper installation, including installation in an electrical circuit not protected by an appropriately rated RCD and installed to national electrical standards.

- Some warping and cracking due to the wooden nature of the product, which is not considered a fault and is not covered.

- Damage from subsequent transport of the constructed sauna.

- Water damage, stains, or swelling of the wood due to sweat or spillage.

- After 12 months, the warranty is limited to the supply of replacement parts and excludes labour.

 

2. Accessories Warranty

 

- All accessories are warranted for one year from the date of delivery against failure due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations, conditions, and exclusions outlined in this warranty.

 

3. General Warranty Exclusions

 

This warranty does not cover:

 

- Damage caused by earth or ground-fill movement or Acts of God.

- Damage or warping from failure to cover the product when packaged in protective wrap and excessive exposure to sunlight.

- Damage from incorrect electrical installation.

- Damage caused by rodents or termites.

- Damage from flooding.

- Damage from installing the product or accessory on an unsuitable surface or area.

- Damage from third-party carriers.

- Commercial installations, such as hotels, motels, gyms, and sports clubs, where larger user numbers are apparent.

- Natural fading and weathering of the surface over time.

- Demo or "scratch & dent" sales.

- Damage due to excessing heating of the sauna.

 

4. Warranty Limitations

 

- This warranty is not transferable.

- The products must not be altered or modified from their original state.

- This warranty is the only warranty offered by Panorama Saunas and excludes any other implied or oral undertakings.

- This warranty does not cover defects or damage due to normal wear and tear, improper installation, alteration without Panorama Saunas' prior written consent, accidents, acts of God, misuse, abuse, commercial or industrial use, use of an accessory not approved by Panorama Saunas, failure to follow Panorama Saunas' Pre-Delivery Instructions, Maintenance Guides, and Owner’s Manual, or repairs made or attempted by anyone other than an authorized representative of Panorama Saunas.

- If defects appear, the Purchaser must inform Panorama Saunas or its representative in writing within seven days of noticing the defect, detailing the nature of the defect and the circumstances in which it was noticed.

5. General Warnings

 

- Owners are responsible for regular inspections and maintenance, including checking the tightness of screws and bands, inspecting structural integrity, and regularly oiling wooden surfaces.

- Do not leave products wrapped in protective plastic outside in direct sunlight, as this can cause damage.

- Store outdoor saunas in a shaded, sheltered area if not being installed immediately.

- Failure to adhere to these requirements may void your warranty.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

 

To the full extent permitted by New Zealand law, Panorama Saunas, its agents, or employees shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, data, business, or profits. Panorama Saunas, its agents, or employees, shall not be liable for injury to any person or any claim of damage, however arising. If products are purchased for business purposes, as defined by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 ("the Act"), the Act's provisions do not apply. Panorama Saunas does not accept responsibility or liability for any advice regarding local council regulations, including but not limited to building consents, resource consents, and heating requirements. Any information provided is general and not intended to address specific circumstances. All enquiries should be directed to and confirmed with the local council. Panorama Saunas will not be liable for costs associated with building alterations, removal costs, delivery costs, or labor costs related to replacing saunas or accessories.

 

7. Electrical Connection

 

All electrical connections (and disconnections) must be carried out by a qualified electrical contractor. It is solely the purchaser's responsibility and cost to facilitate this. Failure to do so will immediately VOID this warranty. Panorama Saunas reserves the right to request proof that the sauna has been installed by a qualified electrical contractor.
